The essentials ingreedients of a tasteful cuisine with a fresh porfum
of just squeezed olives, is the extravergine olive oil the gold of our
hills.
Today the mediterranian diet is a suxess and the extravergine olive oil
of Pratomagno's hills conquist the first line of this diet.
It is produced still in traditional tecnique of squeezing in the oil-mills
of the area. We are trying to keep the quality by introduction of
Denomination of Origin.
Each year, at the beginning of december with the new
harvest, there is in Reggello an oil exhebition.
There is also a project of an oil road a sort of an enogastronomic track
along the antic road of "sette ponti" to visit and know about
the beautiful country side where oil is produced.
The wine is another typical product of the area that belongs to Chianti's
DOC, Colli fiorentini; we can directly taste and buy from the farms and
also in the big assortiments that the restaurants of the area offer us where
they use the genuine products in their cuisines.
